Family Trainers
Some Family Mentors may wish to develop their skills further in order to facilitate training and run specific courses. Their role is not only to provide a welcoming and structured learning environment for adult learners but also to encourage and develop good working relationships between local families, service workers and professionals in order to support the implementation process of the person centred plans that have been generated by family members. A key role is to capture the new learning in a local area so that we can maintain what is working well and work towards making changes where necessary.
